Those are my rules as well sort of. I still have Tanabi and Kopa as Simba's sons in my fandom but Tanabi's paired with Vitani and Kopa's single.
I at one point had a K/K daughter but I changed her to an outcasted Outlander and she has no relation to any cannon charater. She still needs a name (I'm currently looking for a Swhilli dictionary) and she adopted Tanabi and Kopa from Simba; they were adopted because Simba feared that Zira would kill them. She took the two cubs into the jungle where she, Timon's Ma, and Uncle Max take care of them.
