Ever since I first joined the forums, I've noticed alot of goodbye messages being posted in the newbie boards. And I was thinking that maybe we should change the name of the newbie boards to something like 'Welcomes & Goodbyes' so that new members can still post their introduction threads, and existing members can let people know if they are leaving, going on vacation, or just won't be on for awhile. ALSO, if anyone want's it to be more organized, we could make A sub-board to post the 'goodbye' messages in, and just leave the main part of the board for the welcome messages.
If people agree with this idea, or get the O.K. from an admin then I'll go ahead and make the change(s). =3

I like the sub board idea =3 and I agree, the nwebie board is covered in good bye threads o3o;

This one fourm I go to has a section called 'Annoucements,Introductions and Birthdays.'
So,yeah. I like it.

lol, whether or not the sub-board's already been made, I agree. I think it's a very good idea to separate the welcomes and the goodbyes.

Okay everyone! x3 I've added the sub-board and edited the name of the newbie boards. I'm in the process of moving the threads to the proper board right now. So incase those boards are kinda wierd & sloppy for the next few minutes... That's why!  ; Oh, and I've only added my name to the mod list on that board so far. If anyone else wants to look over it too, then don't hessitate to add your name to the list! =3 |
